BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY

Dr. Suad Rashed Al Amer is a board-certified consultant Paediatric Interventional Cardiologist with expertise in paediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart disease. She is also a clinical lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons- Medical University of Bahrain.

Dr Suad attended medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She obtained training in paediatrics from the BDF hospital, Bahrain and King Faisal hospital, Riyadh. She further completed her fellowships in paediatric cardiology and interventional cardiology from King Faisal Heart Institute, Riyadh.

Dr Suad’s clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and interventional treatment of a wide range of paediatric heart diseases and adult congenital heart diseases. She is actively involved in research and conferences and her interest areas include: congenital and structural cardiac interventions, paediatric cardiac imaging and rare genetic heart diseases.
