Dr. Nazar Bukamal MBBch, FRCA is a consultant pediatric and adult cardiothoracic intensivist and anesthesiologist. He is current Head of pediatric and adult cardiothoracic intensive care and anesthesia department, Lead clinician of Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) program and Head of Training and Development department at MKCC. He is also a senior lecturer at Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain.

Dr. Nazar attended medical school at Cario University in Egypt. He obtained training in general and cardiothoracic intensive care and anesthesia for both pediatric and adult at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Royal Hospital for Sick Children (Yorkhill), Glasgow, Scotland, UK.

Dr. Nazar clinical practice in anesthesia for all types of pediatric and adult cardiothoracic and vascular procedures. He is active in clinical research and has been involved in international multicenter trials.
